Anne Geary

International Enneagram Association Accredited Professional holding certifications with The Narrative Enneagram, The Enneagram Institute and the Enneagram in Business. Her work on the Enneagram and Personality is published in Cinmeducation: Using Film and Other Visual Media in Graduate and Medical Education.

Anne is the Founder of The Enneagram Approach which integrates Enneagram Theory and the Twelve Steps of Recovery to create a powerful and pragmatic process of transformation. Her work has been presented at numerous International Enneagram Association Global Conferences both internationally and within the US. 

The Enneagram is a powerful tool to understand personality, providing numerous practical and often immediate clinical applications.

The Enneagram is a powerful tool to understand personality, providing numerous practical and often immediate clinical applications. There are nine distinct personality types which reveal the spectrum of perspectives that inform our approach to engaging in personal and professional relationships.  The Enneagram describes the strengths and potentials of each personality type as well as the unconscious patterns of perception and attention inherent to each type.

The Enneagram Approach is a ground breaking process that integrates The Enneagram and the Twelve Steps of Recovery to create a powerful process of working with clients towards lasting change. Participants will be introduced to the Twelve Step Process and learn how working the Twelve Steps in combination with each Enneagram Type can help them design an effective plan for client development.

Learning Objectives:

At conclusion of this program participants will be better able to:

  • Identify nine unconscious core belief systems and resulting behavioral, emotional and mental patterns
  • Apply intervention strategies to relax the personalities defense system for each type
  • Develop three development strategies for each of the nine types
  • Implement typing assessment tools to determine clients type
  • Educate, support and engage the client to develop practical self-observation skills

Social Workers - New York State
Commonwealth Educational Seminars is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #SW-0444.

All Social Workers attending programs that have been awarded Social Work Continuing Education from CES will receive a Certificate upon completion.

Nurses

Every state Board of Nursing accepts ANCC approved programs except California and Iowa, however CES is also an approved Continuing Education provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider # CEP15567) which is also accepted by the Iowa Board of Nursing.

Workbook:  Participants will receive a workbook to go along with the training to support the integration of the course material.

Attendance:  Participants are required to be in attendance and visible through out the duration of the training

Location:  Be at your desktop or laptop in a quiet private area

Audio:  Mute you speaker upon arrival and throughout the call unless you are speaking

Promptness: The morning session will start promptly at 9:00am. Please review the schedule so you can plan your responsibilities during lunch and breaks 

Distractions:  Please set your phone, texts and email aside 

Connectivity/ Screen freeze: We will email you directions to transition onto your phone.

Questions:  Write them down to be addressed during the allotted time for questions and answers.

She develops and facilitates trainings, seminars and retreats for clients including Atrium Health, Charlotte Area Health Education Center, The Enneagram Institute and Queens University. 

Her work on Emotional Intelligence is published in Cinemeducation: Using Film and Other Visual Media in Graduate and Medical Education.  (Radcliff Publishing 2012). 

Anne has presented her original work on the Enneagram Approach to Recovery at several Global Enneagram Conferences both nationally and internationally. She is a Shift Network Faculty Member and serves on the Board of Directors for The Narrative Enneagram.

She is an International Enneagram Association Accredited Professional and holds certifications with Enneagram Worldwide, The Enneagram Institute and The Enneagram in Business.

Prior to founding Enneagram Charlotte, Anne enjoyed a 25 year career as an entrapruenar and founder of an interior architectural firm where she contributed to the evolution of Charlotte, North Carolina's dynamic growth as a thriving southern city.
